I take it all at BRL = OK? It says quakes are common there but I guess they just don't make the news that often...

Dunno much about New Zealand, but i imagine they are at lower risk due to not having a great deal of high rise buildings. Saying that, tsunamis are a worry :S

Hope everyone is ok too.

That's what you get for living on a volcano.

Do they have geometric analysis data on the region? Do they check vibrations? Predictions? Weather predictions? Weather modification information news sources? (Wind dykes?)

My research showed that bumps on the surfaces move presure up like a bal. And that it wil hit a surface and would cause presure. This could cause quakes. If you really look with your 3d programming experience. You will see that hills move up clouds.

In my town they modify clouds. Movies and music and communication devices are being put into nature.

Every Square inch of the planet can be analyzed with the right programming.

I did hear in old down land hear that geometry moves the weather. A bucket and a spade can prevent a earthquake.

If you dig a deep enough hole with it :P

There was speculation recently that your worklog entries were the work of an ill-trained 'bot. After reading that closing statement, I'm not so sure...

The hills move up clouds? So dammit, Julie Andrews *was* right. The hills really are alive!

Maybe it's New Zealand preparing for Mark's 40th Birthday?

Gisbourne's a fair way from Auckland - I'm closer to Gisbourne than Auckland and I didn't feel it - or at least if I did, I probably put it down to a heavy truck passing by. NZ does have a fair number of earthquakes as it's on the Pacific 'Ring of Fire', but earthquakes causing damage have been rare (touchwood).

ookaay, just keep talking while I ring for the nice people from the hospital to come and see you...
