Indie games for sale in STEAM app

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Indie games for sale in STEAM app

I use the steam app for playing my Valve games and a couple other I bought from that service. But not too long ago, Valse has put an Indie section in the steam store. The price of those games vary between 9.95$ and 19.95$.

I don't know if anyone here had a look into the service and see if they can use that to distribute and sell their indie games?

Yeah my friend told me about this. I wonder if they take games from Indies direct or via an aggregator like Oberon/TryMedia etc. Also I wonder what % commision they pay...

Apperntly this saved Intoversion from folding.

You should talk to the guy that did Bullet Candy.

yeah, city generator looks cool. Next step is getting more detail into the buildings. You can bet the GTA lot have looked at this type of thing.

Intovision has some nice games ... Although Defcon can be as annoying as it can be fun ^^

That city generator is absolutely mind boggling to say the least! When I look at what is done, I find my goals quite modest. I wonder how that city generator could populate say an island. Oh and I haven't noticed any forested zones or parcs. Dunno about that...

Hmm actually I didn't look close enough, the city generator actually defines zones as say high density, urban, park, and so on with color codes. It's better even that I could of tought. Oh, not to mention that the type of cities it seems to generate are quite european in style, when you look at the road / street patterns.
