Thought this was a spoof until I clicked the link! After all the talk in these forums about MDickie I thought I'd wandered into some strange wtf parallel universe.

I had to download the demo. I have to say the 5 mins I just spent playing made me want to play more later. So he must be doing something right!

M Dickie got lots of Motivation for finishing games off.

Has anyone actually played it? It still doesn't look good to me but maybe the gameplay is great.

I knew it was an M Dickie game in about 0.2 seconds just by the graphics. Guess it must have good gameplay and content. Can't say I've tried it yet. Certainly that guy churns the games out. He must have a good 3D framework by now that he uses for each one.

well done! You would have thought by now after all the games he has made and sells that he might hire an artists to work alongside him. Not saying he needs to as the games graphics are by no way "bad". But he could really shurn out some top notch games in both graphics and game content.

OK so this is getting serious - I'm mutating into an MDickie fanboy! After reading this thread I downloaded and played demos of quite a few of his games. And they're fun! I even bought one (yup - I handed over real money!)

It's certainly true that they're not games that will appeal to everyone but if you've been put off his games by comments in these forums then I suggest having a look for yourself. It's interesting from a dev point of view to look at these games that have been made so rapidly but they are also fun if you throw yourself into them with the right frame of mind.

It seems a pity that his games are not mentioned more on this site as an example of someone having a degree of success using blitz.

Yeah I think good on the guy for sure! He never mentions his games here though, shame. It's cool you liked his games.
