Someone needs to make a Super Mario clone with bloody gore.
The unbanning does not help it anyway.
European distributors have banned it from continental europe anyway. Because beside UK and Germany nobody has official binding stuff like USK and the like.
But the retailers and online shops decided to not distribute this game as they already did with another one a few months ago.
Perhaps rockstar and 2-3 other teams, who believe in making bloody bullshit = great game (similar to EA's "no content but great visuals = great game" formula), will learn it at some point when the distributors and retailers boykott that stuff.

its ok the retailers boycotting it
but its the public boycotting it that would be a bigger hint
if the public wants to buy it they will find someone who will sell it

You can buy it from play.com. Perhaps rockstar and 2-3 other teams, who believe in making bloody bullshit = great game
Actually, Manhunt 2 is supposedly a good game (if by good, you mean fun). if the public wants to buy it they will find someone who will sell it
You mean like recreational drugs? Excellent. What we really need is a "War on violence" (oh the irony) creating a black market for violent media. When you criminalize something that isn't real crime, you still create real criminals.
Yes, let's ban Mario. Too many turtles are killed every day by people jumping on their heads. I blame Mario. Ban it.
But seriously, how about we just lock up all the people who can't tell the difference between games and the real world?

yeah and now its been banned and caused such a media fuss the kids will be all over it. Anyone remember the excitement over TCSMassacre and driller killer back in the 80s? I think i only watched them as a kid because all my mates were saying "ooo, Its so scary it got banned!!" Of course at 10 years old the gore was talk of the school after some kids dad brought it back from USA or somewhere, he secretly copied it off his dad and sold copies (to order) in the playground. I thought they were both crap but you can see my point.
i too have found most band or controversial movies rather tame in the present
i fell asleep druing exorcist
texas chainsaw had a nice soundscape

This isnt true the retailer will take the hit if they buy alot of copies and the pubic dont buy it. like the PS3 Sony a saying they have been getting record sells and our shops have thousands they cant get rid of.
sale or return ;)
if hmv virgin (zavvi sounds like a coffee shop) and game dont stock it then not many people will be able to find an indi with it as most will always sell out or over inflate the price
if hmv et all sold it and no one bought it unless they have a sale or return policy they will be left with alot of unsold games on thier hands (desined for one of the sales ... someone would buy it to fill in a gap in their 3 for £whatever)
but sensible parents wont buy it for their under 18 kiddies
moralistic gamers wont buy it
curious gamers might buy it ... then sell it back if its not their bag
and those that want it will buy it
