Buy a review, for thousands!
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Buy a review, for thousands! If its to be beleived its nothing new, its just shocking thats its so public. Loads of reviews have scores 'adjusted' dependent on what comes with the game rather than the game itself.
Current bid 40 thousand dollars?
How stupid that I didn't come up with this myself....

Selling your soul for $40k ? Too cheap!
It is of course a joke. Unfortunately it's one of those "It's funny because it's true" jokes.

Heh, anyone else remember Martyn Brown throwing a hissy fit whenever Amiga Power would give one of Team 17's crap games a low score? Too hilarious. Shill bidding for the win.
Haha, so this is a gamespot joke about them firing that review right?
that'll be the one
The bidding is still open for 1 day and 20 hours....
Anyone wanting to bid while it's still open?
(I don't have the cash, and if I had it I wouldn't bid anyway)

That it's an obvious joke and they're not going to be asked to pay. Even if they were, the worst thing that can happen is that they get a non-payment mark against them. Given that they probably set up new accounts to bid with, not much harm in that.
the feedback on the highest bidders is 0, meaning it's a new user, which is typically a false user, normally just the seller making the item look better. This is a big joke by Gamespot readers anyway, who probably already knew reviewers had to give higher scores to certain publishers games.
