Original indie games

Can anyone point out some really cool original indie games? im getting very tired of seeing match 3 and such, i couldnt respect myself for making a match 3.

One original game ive found is Aquaria, the site seems to be down atm, but its a very nice 2d underwater action/adventure.

It all depends on what your definition of original is.

I've only downloaded the demo a while back - mainly to steal the media. I don't really remember the game. However, I do remember it was okay. It certainly stands out.

I give 7/10 to Minions of Mirth. It is a nice MMORPG.
Nicer than most of the indie MMORPGs.

Another indie MMO game I love to play is Armada Online which
is a 3d space action/rpg.

Then there is GGOTD (Game Giveaway of the Day). It is a
website which, a different indie game being released for free everyday.

The only indie RPG that I know of that looks better than mine is Project Offset. Still, as soon as they release it, mine will look just as good.

Oh I didn't realise it was a MMORPG, I wanted a single player game, oh well.

But match 3 games were original (as original as a tic-tac-toe variant can be). As for original indie games, well most of them seem to be a bit "me too".

The only ones that really stand out are the ancient Amiga games "Pairs" (which is way more addictive than match-3) and non-indie (IIRC) game "Logical".

I've enjoyed playing dwice.

Thanks for posting that up GfK. After playing the demo for a good hour and a half (and still not finished it) I bought it. Its brilliant and very polished...just awaiting delivery now.
