Now I know AOL have got an utterly pants reputation from when the old dial-up days and their horrible old client software but surely they've sorted that out by now?
Even if they haven't I'm sure that a free PS3 or Laptop is enough to make people give them a close look. As far as I can see there is only a 2 year contract tie-in other than that the item is yours if you order before Dec 17th (and they still have stock).
Do AOL still use that horrible internal client and stupid proxy access or have they sorted themselves out? It's kinda tempting...
I must say the old "suspiscous bastard" part of me does think there must be some horrible catch, even if it is just that AOL's service is so bad this is the only way they can get customers to stay with them.
