The old 3D brush demo's were pretty decent, and mudbox or zbrush are a lot more expensive. Seems like a bargain to me :)

And over there (link below) mac people can get a 30% discount if they go for three titles, 40% for five, ...

The interesting thing about it is that you for instance can pickup up software like Unity Indie (gamedev), Cheetah 3D (model, animate, render) and Pixelmator (gpu photoshop) which saves you over $100, instead of $387 you only have to pay $270.

*update*

Actually you can push it down to $174.24 if you fill it up with another 7 cheap apps and go for the 70% discount.

3D-Brush software should not be used in the production of any erotic or obscene materials as well as of any products which propagandize hatred against people.

God I never thought that use, the company reminded users this is possibl with 3D-Brush...... now I'm thinking purchasing it seriously.. :P

It would be great if the min poly count was not 30'000 ...

I prefer using Silo2 for this job which only costs me 60$ if I decide to update and does not create models for pure rendering only ... (for the other painting features I bought hexagon 2 for 5$ or the like when it cost that much at daz platinum club ^^)

3D-Brush seem to be quite nice... easy workflow, I managed to sculpt and paint in no time... so whats are ups and downs compared to similar software???
