I was looking forward to that game

not bad review score.

cheers

I've seen pretty mixed reviews. Most said that at the beginning it was fun, but the minigames that take place at the research stages before execution of the contract are very weak, and the gameplay is supposed to get very repetitive to the point of being tiresome.

Eurogamer and IGN gave it a pretty low score for the caliber of game it is supposed to be.

Gamespot gave it a great review...

IGN and Gamespot confuse me with these three reviews, one for US, one for UK and for Aus, particularly when it varies between 6.5 and 8.5 like this. I don't see any necessity for multiple reviews because gamers aren't going to be defined by their nationality like that. It would come across much better if they did the paper magazine trick of one review with a couple of second opinion boxes as well.

I'm pretty confident I'm going to enjoy this, so reviews be damned, I'll buy it.

Me too.

>Me too.

Well if Duck is in count me too :D I've been looking forward to this game, hope it can deliver what it promisses.

Btw flameDuck I saw you at Dj Tiesto concert in copenheagen or maybe it was your double? :D

I've been interested in the game for quite a while, I guess I'll sit it out and wait for the PC version which is due early next year. That way I'll have plenty of time to discover if its actually any good. Maybe they will improve the PC version too.

I was hoping for something that mixed the best of POP and SpinterCell, stuck in a medieval historical setting. Looks like its most of the way there.

Anyone got £50 spare? :-P

£50?? Where are you buying it from? Amazon sell the PC version for £25 and PS3/XBox360 version for £40.

Or are you just scrounging for money, in which case Get a job ya hippy! :)

Assasins creed is coming out for PC in february 2008, so any purchase on amazon will mean a lengthy wait. $100 for a console game is way too much,

I'm reluctant to pay more than $50 a game which is why I havent bought a console the last couple of years.

lol.

in fact, £44 in shops. I wont be getting it from there though!

Hahaha.

I have a job. (now if only they'd pay me what I was worth huh!)

Anyway,

can't wait for this game. Cant get it yet though. Payday!

The beginning of the story disappointed me.

It's £40 (PS3 version) at Sainsburys
Bought that and Crysis this morning

My god - this game is look-n-touch!

Watch this video:

I am buying this.

Cancel that - it isn't out until 1st Feb 2008.

Sniff - no demo - sniffage.

Get a XBox 360 puki, it is out already.

Of course, you aren't able to steal the artwork from a 360 game, are you?

I've nicked tons of stuff out of Crysis.

Assasin's creed isn't all that great, was playing it at my friends on his 42inch tv and graphics didn't look as nice as this demo he had called heavenly sword(iirc) and the game seemed quite boring. Aside from running into people and shuving them away, scaling walls etc(very cool), searching for your next target or a weak battle system I didn't enjoy this game.
I would much rather play zelda which is a soo much better game. I suppose they put more effort into the mechanics of the game and graphics than the actual gameplay.

Heavenly Sword is a PS3 game, and while it may have decent graphics (I didn't really care for them), the game is an atrocity, and the developers should be banned from making any more games ever.
