circa 100Mbit is on its way - ooh! mega-touch

Most ADSL services around the world are effectively limited to speeds between 1 to 20Mbps, but if Dr Papandriopoulos's technology is successfully commercialised that speed ceiling would be closer to 100Mbps.

I didn't know that old-fashioned 'cross-talk' reduced the connection speed - I would have assumed they cured it years ago. Anyway, this guy has invented an algorithm to sort it all out.

'bout time they sorted out the state of the internet back 'home' (UK is way down the list for good internet) mabe my mum & dad will finally be able to skype me with a decent picture, not the horrible blurry laggy 3-5 frames a second we normally get.
