How to print with BlitzMax ?

All,
do you know how to communicate with a printer from within BlitzMax ? I need to print some text at specified coordinates on a A4 sheet, and also choose a print font.

Do you know any module/api that could do the job ?

Any help is greately appreciated.

Besides the forthcoming wxMax project, is there a multi-platform solution available?

GadgetPrint if you have MaxGui?

I filed a bug report about that, which is still open; it produces wrong output on OS X to a degree that it is useless.

You can also use cairo mod to output PDF files.
