Don't show me that!!!! I'm trying to put it off. I just got an S-Video lead for my 360 actually, and it looks very clear right now, so managed to put myself off upgrading for a little while longer.

Well I've had the same 28" 4:3 CRT for about 10 years now... It's done me proud... But the picture kept collapsing into a vertical line in the middle of the screen... This required the tele to be frequently bitch slapped to get the picture back... The time was right to get a new one!
32", 3 hdmi inputs, 2 scart, composite, VGA, built in freeview... 'tis a thing of loveliness! I was going to get a bigger one but it would look daft in my lounge!

Reminds me of my old PC monitor, the masking thinger on the tube kept slipping, which produced a nasty ghosting on the screen, nothing a few hard (literal) whacks to get that thing back into shape.
(shame it kicked the bucket a year later after it started that)
How much does that TV cost around anyhow? I've only seen about a thousand of those at various places (or at least ones based about that model type), been curious about a decent HDTV, but dear god, anything that I'd be happy owning over the crappy 21" CRT I got is over $2k.
Had a 42" plasma for about 5 years now stuck to the wall, it rocks! I love big TVs :-)
It's not as fancy as a freakin huge TV and you lot have probably had them for years but I just got myself a 22" monitor dealy yesterday and don't know how I ever did without it.
my brother got a 32" widescreen from microdirect and afaik it was only £400 tops
it looked nice but hes got some issues with it

mind you i need a new gfx card cos this one is just about capable of displaying a dvd and keels over with games released after 2002 :( and ive only had the pc a year if that

I have a Samsung one too - looks similar.
We (housemates and I) bought a Samsung 27" LCD for £252 a couple of weeks ago. No HDMI, but it has 2 SCART, 1 composite, 1 component, 1 VGA and 1 DVI (with each input having a separate input for audio as well).
Same look as the Samsungs that were partnered with Xbox 360 kiosks, but it's all black. Slight damage to it (small dent on the left side) but it works perfectly.
An excellent purchase.

they have some great savings in the local store this week depending on whether you want 720p or 1080p. It's a shame you can't fly over to the states for a weekend and bring one back on the plane.
