Apparently the worlds encryption codes rely on prime numbers. The public have their keycodes and a secret code is kept at the company headquarters.
So a man came up with a way of getting the secret code just from looking at a keycode. But modern computers are too slow to calculate it, it would take 10 years on a fast PC apparently.
They didnt mention what would happen if someone had more than one PC though.
So some scientists came up with some quantum computers that can have more than 2 states (1 or 0) with makes them have lots of paralell processing power.
One computer used infrared readings of molecules magnetism but if you have too many molecules the results are unreadable. The other team of scientists used lasers.
