But yes, completed it a couple of days ago. Loved it, absolutely brilliant. Far too short.
Yes, completed it a while ago, thought it was just about the right length. It's not about length, it's quality of product.
I've completed two of the advanced levels and am now killing myself trying to figure out the others. It's the poerfect game for geeks, all problem solving, and smooth crisp un cluttered rooms.

Completed it about 3 hours after buying it - one of the best games I've played yet, but way too short.
The ending is brilliant though (and by ending I mean from the point you stop following orders) - a touch of genius, it felt like being inside the film "Cube".
I particularly liked reading all the graffiti on the walls of the various hideouts, very amusing, and the effect of the reality of the grimy broken wood behind all the high-tech sheen was superb.
Overall, I'd happily buy Portal 2.
HL Episode 2 on the other hand....ho hum. BOREDOM. So much time spent in the tunnels that I got too bored to carry on playing. It might get better later on but it's taken perhaps 2 hours of slogging through tunnels fighting the same enemy over and over and over. What rubbish.

I also liked Portal. Got stuck in the second-last level (Testchamber 18), though. The one with tower-like plateaus where you have to go all the way up (I think). I don't manage to get to the top-most plateau.
Still, I think the idea of the game is brilliant. I hope to see that "weapon" in Episode 3 and/or Half-Life 3.

it's be cool to have the ASHPD in half-life...I can just imagine dropping a strider through a portal to the top of the used-to-be citadel...or maybe a radio station...

I love my weighted companion cube.
There was even going to be a party for you. A big party that all your friends were invited to. I invited your best friend the companion cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either because you don't have any other friends because of how unlikable you are. Unlikable, it says so here in your personnel file: Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter, unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned. SHALL. NOT. BE. MOURNED. That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you're adopted, so that's funny too.

Why have you **** out the word Cunt, when the whole point of the Joke is that Fanny and Cunt are the same thing to half the world?
That is, to the people that Know you are sometimes a "Cunt" you are already being offencive by using the word fanny?
