Is there going to be a X-Mas competition?

I was thinking, I believe it's been a while since there was any game developing competition around here.

So I was wondering if there were any plans to have a 1 month-duration 2D and\or 3D game development competition, with the Christmas theme. (Maybe breaking the competition into 2 categories, one for 2D games, and another for 3D games)

I know we're in October, but still, If there is going to have anything like this, there must be some time for planning.


So what do you guys say?

And then theres the fireworx competition... only 5 days long that baby. S'pose 1st Decembers as good a day as any to kick off a christmas compo....

Nah. Should probably be a Hitman/GTA mod, having Sinterklaas as the main protagonist giving "gifts" to all the good children, while Zwarte Piet horribly murders all the bad children. Like Jack Thompson.

Hey Big10p, were you in Yeovil today? I went to Chips, Game and Gamestation :-) It's getting real hard to find gamecube stuff now and GBA stuff. It's all Wii and DS (I got a DX so that's OK)

I'd say the best way would be to take charge and do it.

No, I wasn't in town yesterday. I thought Gamestation usually have a pretty good selection of used GB games. Although, I haven't had a good look around a game shop in a while as I no longer own a console. :(

My grandfathers name was noel. He hated it too and changed it to George.
I dont reckon its that bad, could be worse, you could have got cursed with Percy, Tarquin or Dick :)

Jeremy. I curse my parents and siblings for giving me that name. Evil, vindictive buggers, naming me after Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - still could have been worse (marginally) if I was a girl I would have been Jemimah!

Never really thought to change it though, and to be fair, if I did Noel would not be at the top of the list - Grrrrrr would be close though.

Yeah I guess so, just nothing new for GC in any of the shops now. I guess everyone has switched to Wii.
