PC football ?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/PC football ?

Due to England's poor performance against Russia. I here by suggest that the whole of the England team be replaced by their computer game counter parts, who ( the real players ) in my opinion are over paid for what they do (come on how can any body be worth £30,000+ a week just for kicking a ball around).

Perhaps instead of paying these people for their sport we could link up PC's, each one representing a football team (or each PC representing a player) and let the game A.I.'s battle it out, this I would think would be more entertaining than buying a season ticket ( at extortionate prices ) just to see my/yours (or what ever team you support) team loose yet again.

And just think of the knock-on effects if the football/PC idea caught on, no more stadiums (more land for building housing) and no need for policing venues ( the police can spend more time investigating crimes ).

Of course there would have to be a PC's set aside for the referee and lines men in neutral territory, so there can be no cheating :-).

And I'm not anti-sport just p*s*ed off with people who don't deliver the goods for the money they get paid.

a computer ref would have seen the fact that rooney fouled that bloke outside the box so it was a free kick no a pen.

russia seam to be all for simulation judging by their plastic pitch

May be a computer ref should have the same characteristics as a real ref ( short sited, bad judgement and let any player off without a booking for "play acting")
