Please Help me
Aza
Look in the Extras section
http://www.unwrap3d.com/downloads.aspxthen use Ultimate Unwrap to convert to b3D
the OBJ format doesn't support bones or animation
That's awesome thanks a lot...
I know that b3d support bones but what other format support bone? x?
Yes, .x
If you want to export animations that are driven by dynamics or modifiers, such as flags waving, or pipes bending, then you can use this:
http://www.qtipplugin.com/It exports animation on a pervertex level, so it can get your animations in game no matter how they are rigged or animated.
@Mortiis, how is blender to work with compared to Maya and other 3D programs ?
At first, it takes a little time to get used to the interface
but as you learn a bit, you can work much faster than max and
it's really powerful for a free program.
It has all you need in a single package, modelling, rendering,
texturing and animation. UV mapping is the easiest I've seen.
B3d exporter works flawlessly unlike the max pipeline.
It also includes a game engine, but I haven't tried it and
probably I won't. Python support may prove useful too if you
know python.
Give it a try but don't give up if it frustrates you at first.
Try some very simple tutorials for the interface and the rest
comes by itself.
Blender is a good program, but i already use 3dsmax for many meshes.. My dialup is so slow before, i can download it but it'll take me more time then i prefer to ask. Can i export from 3dsmax to blender keeping the bones?
ill give it a try, cant be more fustrating then the ol radiant tools for queke hehe
thank you for the info
@Azaratur, blender is only 8 mb so it won't take forever even with 56k.
You can export boned meshes from 3dsmax to blender if you export them to DirectX .x format.
3dsMax doesn't export in x format.. There is a plugin?
