Vista downgrade to XP

Hi all,

Could most newest notebook downgrade from Vista to XP?
Will they be much more expensive that those could not?

Not sure if you have already bought it, but i know a lot of pressure on MS to keep XP on the shelves is resulting in large companies like dell to keep it on. If you are asking from a compatability point of view then there shouldnt be any problems.

Im in the same boat actually, ive just bought a new Laptop PC and have lost my XP professional disk. :(

Well I dont care HOW illeagal Microsoft think it is, if you still have the Key, then download a Werez version.

I bought an old Laptop with XP, then upgraded to a newer one with out an OS.
Installed my old 2000 onto the old laptop, and then A werez XP onto my new laptop using the XP key I had.
I have two computers, running Two OS that I have legit Keys for. (Let face it, I have 7 Legit Keys going back to 3 1/2" Win95). And microsoft can go take a running jump of a high cliff if Im going to take any notice of them.

Por el amor de dios, its a "Standard" OS across computer systems, If its not specificly written for a Toshiba Satilite, then why an I only allowed to use it on a Toshiba Satilite.

Yeah i would in a flash, because as far as im concerned i still "own" a license. However I wouldnt truse a warez version of windows as far as i could throw a fridge (as it could be harboring all sorts of nasty lur-gees!).

Ive tried my friends copy and a few from work but no joy, OEMs must use different codes or something from full versions (mine being full = hard to find).

Been giving vista another go and after one night i now have a new vein in my forhead, less hair and my eye twitches every time vista plays its "exclamation" sound. I think my ctrl/alt/delete keys have been used most so far as IE keeps locking up.

I suppose. I might have used EMule, maybe, If Id ever done it.
But the increased fear of lur-gees is pushed by Microsoft, so I dont know how likly it really is.
