Mistaken identity emails

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Mistaken identity emails

Do you ever get emails where the sender thinks you are someone else? I've had a few recently and initially I thought it was spam but on reading it was obviously mistaken identity. I decided to be nice and reply to let them know they had made a mistake. I used to just delete this stuff but recently I've decided to reply and sort it out. What do you do with this kind of email?

I pretend to be the person and cause chaos between whatever their relationship is. It only lasts until they find out there was an email mixup.

Case for leagle action I feel.

Wouldn't mind if there was. If they won and I got fined they can have (the maximum allowable in court no matter how much the fine) the £12.50 every fortnight from my income support.

It happens.

Delete it.

Yeah, I just delete anything that's not obviously a legit email for me.
