Addictive Game of this month
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Addictive Game of this month
Hi all,
If you want to buy an addictive game this month, what would you suggest?
Thanks in advance
Team Fortress 2 if you're looking for an expensive game.
Team Fortress 2 for sure! (Well, my beta account for Hellgate:London is not ready yet ^^)
What format? PC (mainstream single player, online, or casual?), Console or handheld?
TECNO -the base- is pretty nice, you should give it a try.
No question only this game is worth to be the game of the month:

Those advertisements are cute: england:5 germany:1, *lol*
Bah I saw epic fighter and thought it may have been a scrollingjob like rastan! disappointed I was.
There are some addicitive games on my website: www.greyaliengames.com if you like that sort of thing.
I've been playing a whole lot of Pac-Man on my cel phone lately. Dunno why, but this game is quite addicting.
As you're saying, i've played Frogger a couple of times lately. I makes fun playing it on a real coin basis. It's only allowed to press "insert some coin" if you also spend one in real...
Epic fighter: The Dark Wizard got me bang to rights on lvl 4.
Afraid Never Winter Nights 2 still gets my vote.....
teh orange box (TF2 halflife 2, HL2-Episode 1 and Episode 2, and Portal, for 45$, best deal EVAR)
Another vouch for Team Fortress2.
I think the fact the dang thing is still in beta and the only thing accessible currently (that's new) in the Orange box, and that I've spent more time on it the last two weeks than any other PC game.
Getting my money's worth out of this single title alone, can't wait until the rest of the package is released next Wednesday. Just need a good net connection, a microphone (team-based FPS, it's dull without it), and some time to learn the intricacies of each of the classes and maps and yer good to go.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
I wish my mate would bring back my DS so I could play Zelda :(
TF2 or World in Conflict depending on your personal interests.
Both are pure fun and make you think "hole crap where did that 3 hours go to??"

I like pixel art :P
Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.
An old one: Paper Mario on GC, it's very addictive. Also New Super Mario on DS.
Hello.
Larn.
Goodbye.
haha I should have guessed...
Having played Hellgate London beta for 8 hours now I must say: definately one of the most addictive games I've ever played and also voted for this months most addictive game =)
Fable (xbox) is getting a helluva lot of game time, Jade Empires not three bad also.
Oh and another old one. Resident Evil 4. Very addictive.
Still never got past the village in RE4, no resolve thats my problem. Very good all the same.

Shoot and run, shoot and run, shoot and run. I think you have to put down like 15 of them before you're saved by the bell..........
Still never got past the village in RE4, no resolve thats my problem.
Ah Man you are missing SOOO much.
Yeah Bubble Bobble was great on the C64.
Well i've graduated to Ms Pacman now. Much more intense. :p
Game that coming out this MONTH are
PES2008
FM2008
Cheers
teh orange box
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
I've never played a Zelda game before, but this absolutely rocks! The Zelda games always looked boring to me, but I haven't been able to put this down. It makes great use of the DS's touch screen, and the 3D engine is equally impressive.
It makes me want to have a go at writing one of these myself in Max, but I'm guessing they're not as easy to write as they might appear to be (when compared with other game genres).
Zelda Phantom hourglass gets my vote as well.
