To my shame I must admit I got to the "Living" level bit, and ran out of something, (or maybe I couldnt use the alien weapons), and gave up.

That was SOOOO near the end ;-) Actually I'm wondering if it's at that point that I used a walkthrough (for the bit I got stuck on only)....

Is it sad that I'm still waiting on a patch for PC since its release in North America just to play the game without sound stutters?

Anyways, loved that review, so blunt and quick to the point, need to see more of those....

That's was an entertaining review! I recognise that guy's name. He's released quite a few free point+click adventures that are worth taking a look at if you're that way inclined.

Ah but ive completed shock dozens of times, its my favorite game so its always on all of my computers :) along with Shock1

I suppose SS2 must have replay value (different character path) but I couldn't be arsed.

hm i didnt play SS2 but i played bioshock. i think it is one of the best FPS i ever played........yet!

I stopped playing system shock 2, cause my nerves couldn't take the horror anymore. It really scared me when I played it.

bioshock was announced as a "horror FPS game", too. but i didnt wet my pants... DOOM3 is scary, but not bioshock. but bioshock is cool anyway!

hmm, last scarey game I played was Silent Hill 3 in a dark room middle of the night...

Bioshock was suppose to be scary?? I would say that some events were troubling, but didn't find the game scary. I think the last game that made me nearly sh*t my pants was Eternal Darkness in the bathtub scene....lol. But then again, that whole entire game is frickin creepy anyways.

The Halo 3 review is spot on too

I did think there was one fantastic very cinematic moment in Bioshock, early on when you're searching a desk, you listen to the tape you find on it, then you turn round and a bad guy is standing right behind you. I think I screamed out loud! Sadly the later levels just seemed more and more rushed.

Nice the Halo 3 one was published today, cool!
