wow, the power of marketing, its even managed to get the 360 promoted on a PC programming forum. That was the best free console MS ever gave away, assuming of course that the kid wasnt an actor in the first place.
Microsoft didn't give it away. But sure, it could have been a viral marketing campaign. But are we that cynical?

Now that the game is out I can talk about it. I animated a few of the cutscenes in the game and I'm curious to hear what people think. When we (subcontracted by Bungie) worked on the game all we had were untextured Maya scenes so we never got to see the finished product, until now.
For those curious, I worked on the character animation for 'one final effort' (MC walks out & stares off into the distance); 'transition' (MC & Johnson standing in the back of the ship. Johnson pats him on the shoulder & walks away); 'loadup' (a group of guys race for the ship and climb aboard. MC helps them on and then stays behind to fight on) as well as a couple others.

and xbox 360 anint powerfull enought to handle the loading times.

I dont have an XBox 360, nor Halo 2 or 3.
I just stick to Halo 1 on my Mac. Would be nice if Halo 2 and/or 3 was converted to OSX though.

Considering Halo 2 is Vista only on PC, I can't see it going over to the Mac.
Halo's really overhyped IMO anyway. It is a good game, but there's plenty of other games that work better in multiplayer, i.e. unreal tornament, quake 3, battlefield 2, counterstrike, team fortress 2, etc......
