Orange broadband email

Anyone on Orange broadband having problems with retrieving their emails on a wireless connection?

It used to be instantaneous but now seems to take ages to connect to the server and actually download the messages! Sometimes, the connection times out and fails completely - I then have to try again.

I have AVG email scanner running but I don't think this is the problem as I've always used it.

Anyone help?

I don't really want to enter the world of pain that is calling tech support! :P

[edit] Oh, and another thing: for some reason, certain emails can only be retrieved using my PC on the wired connection - I can't pick them up via the PC on the wireless connection. What's up with that?

I had similar problems but with sending emails just a short while back. Check out this page, you may be able to find something to help you out.

Thanks Jason. There's a thread on there with people with the same problem but no fix is given/known. Also some other disturbing threads on there about old freeserve email addresses getting wiped out, without warning - I still use my freeserve addy. :/

I still use my Freeserve one too :)
