is this company legit? has anyone ordered from them? any caveats? they have some killer prices right now... to good to be true almost making me a bit leery.

Looks to good to be true. I wouldn't count on getting any kind of support or updates to work.

Whois shows the domain was made roughly 3 weeks ago, and I seriously doubt that company is providing a legitimate means of purchase, as andy_mc said, sounds too good to be true.

[EDIT] Apparently they sell them via downloads only, which makes it look more like the company is out for a quick buck before they get shut down.

It's a dodgy site, if you buy they'll probably abuse your credit card too.

Possibly fraud or warez site... more dangerous than getting those software from P2P.
(not encouraging ppl to get them from P2P, just a remind to be cautious towards these sites.)

Say, is there a place where you could actually report these types of sites?

I mean, it's hosted in the States, so I assume there are possibilities of actually getting these places shut down, unlike as if it were hosted in say, some specific eastern parts of the world.

I'm sure it's semi-legal in that they will simply let you download an ISO file with hints or possibly instructions on how to burn it to a CD. If it is this sort of setup then don't trust such scum with your card number.

I've had a number of emails from companies like this and thought I'd check out the scamming forums to see what was said. I got a rather mixed set of results.

A number of people have been waiting years and received nothing, while others have had the software and had no problems. The main source of contention, however, is that it is illegal, you're unlikely to get support and most of all it's all a front for organised crime. Do you really want to support criminals and give them your credit card details? I doubt it...but it's your call.
