Any news of Unreal Tournment 2007?

Any news of Unreal Tournment 2007?

Why yes:
1) It's been called Unreal Tournament 3 since January.
2) It's due out for PC, Mac, Linux and PS3 in November, with Xbox360 due 2008.
3) It has a wikipedia entry here which told me all this.
4) I used this search engine to find it. It can often be a valuable tool in the resolution of such enquiries.

Release date is planned for November 30, 2007 ... I still prefer the original UT (first one) for some reason. I believe you'll need a high spec machine to run UT 3.

I think this will probably be THE big game for about 3-5 years. I don't think technology is going to progress much beyond this point without a major paradigm change, and no one else is going to have the resources to produce this much content.

In other words, this will be remembered as the final result of raster graphics. I'm looking forward to it.

I read something about it possibly being delayed. Hope it isn't...

Gameplay wise Quake Wars is much more appealing. If Unreal Tournament 3 is a success it would be the first real success since the original Unreal Tournament. I doubt it because:

1. There will be not much new gameplay
2. the super graphics need super hardware
3. the super hardware needs Vista

On DX9 and OpenGL the game won't be that much of a graphic blockbuster. Crysis looks way better in DX9 mode than Unreal Tournament 3 does (and I'm not even a fan of Crytek -.-) imho.
