Please help with gaming questionnaire

Hi, my partner, Helen, is a science-writer and one of her associates is writing a book and has made a little survey about playing games. If you feel like filling it out that would be a great help. Here's what she says:

"I'm writing a popular book (if you see what I mean) about computer games, and am using a very simple survey to collect people's experiences of playing games and any impacts games have had on their lives. I am sure some ABSW-ers play, or played games and I'd love it if you would help me by filling the survey in. It's at www.playko.com/gameplaying/ I won't quote anyone without asking first."

Um... got as far as Q7 and it started over... Also it doesn't make it clear what it's about. It should say something like a questionnaire about a game you have played, please think of one... or something... you get what I mean!

Should it be about your favourite game or just any old game?

Should it be a recent game or doesn't it matter?

I'm sure I'm not alone here but I've been playing games for more than a couple of months so there's quite a wealth to choose from... And JetPac ruled!

Imagine someone asking "What's the ideal Novel of the future?" or Film or Poem, Painting, Song\Album.

That question comes from a very narrow understanding of games. Unanswerable and meaningless.

Questions are too broad - I got to question 7 as well and didn't go any further - far too open, not enough direction.

EDIT -

just did one, based it on Might and Magic 2 - a game I played on and off over 4/5 years (1991-1994/1995).

I did mine based on paper mario. For the game of the future I just describe the sort of game I'd like to play personally.

Yes it's a strange questionnaire but hopefully the answers they get will help them out.
