What are the criteria to be Unbanned?

There seems to be only one way to become unbanned, and that is to buy a new Product, and get a new Key :) ahahaha @ Amon

Now I assume that the way to really do it, is to EMail Blitz support, and then they concider the strenght of the reason for the banning, and descide.

Well, anyway, Ive had a thread with GFK at syntax bomb, and he has indicated that you has been trying to contact support, and that he went so far as to get a thread posted here (By Big) saying that he has not gotten any reply.

Obviously, its quite possible that these emails havnt been procesed yet, however, if someone is here to delete these threads, then they are equaly here to, at its simplest post to GFK telling him that its under concideration.

Its not my place to say who should or shouldnt be unbanned, but concidering the reported level of the offence, and concidering that GFK nearly always posted good answers, (Albet Gruffly sometimes), then there should concideration of his banned state.

Also, now that he has expressed an opinion to return, I would be very supprised if posts similar to this didnt continue to appear. Its not like he only ever posted to moan about the Graphics enginge, like.. well not important.

Hope he (GfK) makes it back soon, we got some useful code/testing sorted out in collaboration.

I hope he gets reinstated sometime as well. I'm not entirely convinced his last 'offence' deserved a banning in the first place.

Not mine either, but I agree that from what we know, he seems to have been on the receiving end of cruel and unusual punishment - the crime considered.

He's a nice guy in 'the real world' and has always helped others on this forum, probably more than anyone else. He's a long time veteran and advocate of Blitz products.

From what I heard, a ban seems a bit unjust.

:) - I've been banned left right and center from this forum. I always make sure, due to my volatile nature, that I have at least 2-3 spare accounts on here. It's useful because my schizophrenia makes me say stuff that is is always highly offensive or obscene. I can whole heartedly say that I deserved every ban I got.

One time I got banned because skidracer didn't like me calling MAX3D vapourware. I immediately saved the thread and emailed Mark. 30 minutes later I was unbanned. I believe ( and this is my opinion ) that skidracer sometimes bans people just because he doesn't like them, or, if it's not Skidracer then there is a rogue moderator whi bans people for stupid things.

The biggest injustice on this forum is how Flamduck can swear whenever he wants, make homosexual remarks in reply to people he considers stupid and advocates gang rape on People hosting warez servers and he does all this with BRL seeing his comments yet remains still a posting member of this forum.

I have seen people get banned for some of the most ridiculous of reasons, an example would be GFK's latest banning, yet other members, namely flamduck, get to do what they want whenever.

I believe Skidracer has been wanting to ban GFK for some time and was basically waiting for any excuse to do so. I'm going to go hunt through my backup cd's. I have alot of threads saved. If I find it, I'll post comments and posts made by Flamduck on this forum and I'll post what GFK said in the minter thread. I guarantee you that you will be in shock at what GFK said and got banned for and what FLameDuck has said and has not got banned.

If I dissapear and don't post anymore it's probably because I've been banned.

I wasn't that surprised at the ban. The thread in question was the second (that I know of) that had to be deleted because of GFK's personal issues with Minter -- not only is potential libel a moderation nightmare, but what's the point of anyone contributing to the forum when someone with an axe to grind can just swan in and get one's contributions deleted along with the rest of the thread? It undermines everything.

That said, I am surprised at the length of the ban and expected to see GFK back by now. Surely it's got to be time to think about lifting it.

Regardless of GFK's guilt or innocence, I don't think anyone's cause (or the positive energy of the universe) will be helped at all by a "Flameduck should be banned because of THIS!" case.

GFK is a good boy...far as I know he always offer help to anyone whos asking for it, what means basically giving solutions for BRL products and their users...having that in mind, I will call his banning and reasons for it quite funny at least..

Not sure what offence you are all refering to. In fact I didn't even know GfK had been banned, but if my memory serves me rightly this isn't the first time Gfk has been banned. Maybe BRL come down stronger on repeat offenders. Who knows. I'd say it's a matter for BRL and Gfk to resolve privatly.

Oh could you be a bit more of a drama queen? If me not getting banned for saying fuck is the worst thing that happens here - I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

If you get banned you need to talk directly to the moderator who banned you, most likely me.
