I think they lack in design, ergonomics and the power supply but i found it interesting to read through. It's a very nice idea, maybe in a v2 or v3...

The keys aren't supposed to just be a color block, but they should accomodate color graphics in something like 32x32 pixels in 16 bit color depth. I don't know how they will upload the graphics to the keys. It could be that the Optimus has a flash rom or something. Eventually, they will sell this under 100$ US, or a competing company.

I wonder how long it takes till the first keyboard games show up. Hitting the moving @ whilst it's scrolling from through the keys. A little bit of blinkenpaint.

When THIS is out and ergonomically useable AND you can upload graphics to the keys in realtime, I'll buy this instantly, selling my soul if needed to get it!

I never look at my keyboard when typing. So having LCD displays in the keys would be useless.

Maybe I'm weird, but I hate the way they keep adding more keys to keyboards. I don't want an email key, webrowser key, volum key and what not on my keyboard. They just take up space and generally require some stupid driver that only works in Windows. In fact, I'm most happy with keyboards that cut of the whole number pad and home, page up etc. keys, using a single Fn key instead. Makes it easier to reach for the mouse. :)
