Hi everyone, im mintybreath. (Stay with me, cause i did not make this topic to adveratise my friends forum, as it seems in the beginning.)
My friend made a pretty good forum, called www.boredbb.org/bored .
As some of you may know, forums are hard to get started. They have to be active to get alot of people, and have to get alot of people to be active. If a forum has no bigger purpose, then it is EVEN harder to get started. My friend developed this plan, making 3 different groups that would make stuff for the site, giving it a higher purpose. There was making the mods for the forum, making reviews, and making games. I got chosen to be the games section admin, since im the only one who knows anything for making games.
So What i am trying to do is get a small team together for making games for the site. I would think, i would need at least 3 to 6 people, more would obviosly be apreciated. In my mind, i may be wrong, i would need a graphics designer, to make meshes, a coder, to coder (i would help as well), and someone to make textures.
I may be the admin, but that does not mean i am a code Guru. In fact, i would bet that most of you are better at coding than i am. I know the essentials to coding, but am mainly the admin because, A. My friend owns the site, and B. I would also manage time, and keep people in line. I would also help as much to my ability with coding.
Now please. Join if you want. But if you dont want, simply go to the next forum, we dont need anyone here trashing the idea just cause it is not there THING. I have never known the blitz comunity to be that way, and dont think they would.
If you want to join, just post here, with your name, AIM or email if you have one, and what you can do.
We would really like to make this happen, make the forum happen, and most importantly make some games and have fun doing it! :D
