Need a PowerPC Mac user to compile my framework
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Need a PowerPC Mac user to compile my framework
Hiya, Can any of my Grey Alien BlitzMax Game Framework customers please offer me their assistance by compiling a PPC version of my AOTMG framework demo? That would be really helpful thanks.
I could have written an email to you all but my ISP makes me send them in batches of 20 which is a pain.
I look forward to hearing from you soon! Thanks.
I can when I get home this evening, if nobody else does it first.
That's very kind thanks Jeff. Yeah can you just compile the AOTMG that you have (v1.04 of the framework) and send me the "package" I believe it's called on Mac (it's like a hidden folder with stuff in isn't it?). Then I'll combine it with the data and post it and hope that it will all work OK on the PPC. Thanks!
My Intel version works you see but I have some potential customers interested in seeing a PPC demo.
I know for sure that it compiles and runs fine on my PPC Mac, as I just did that this morning. I didn't pay attention to where all the media is stored, but if it's not already embedded into the executable, it's easy enough to arrange if you'd like it to be completely stand-alone.
Hi, just send the executable please and I'll make sure it's in the same folder as my DATA folder and then I'll zip it all up and put it online. thanks! :-)
All you need to do is put the whatever.app `file` into a zip file, it will automatically include all the hidden sub folders and their contents. The .app is a virtual file, it looks like a file and acts like one but it really is symbolic of the hidden folder you mentioned, which contains various other stuff that is needed. It all gets copied together when you do a copy or an archive.
thanks.
