Can I stay at your house?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Can I stay at your house?

If you live near Wigan, England, I will pay you to let me sleep on your couch for a 2-3 days. I have to meet with TGC, then I will be off to Sweden & Germany.

Why not get a cheap motel/hotel?

or a B&B

I am cheap. And I will be traveling through Europe for three weeks. And I thought my connections in England might be good for something. :)

Buy a tent :)

Nice! You're welcome to stay at mine if you're house trained, however, I live nowhere near Wigan. Infact I don't really live near anywhere, that's why I like Norwich!

You really need to find someone who lives in Manchester (I assume that's where you're flying to).

That said, according to this there's some B&Bs from £15 per night, which, will be basic (to say the least) but it's going to be a bed and roof over your head.

Nice, thanks.

can't TGC put you up somewhere for a couple of nights?

Hope you like steak and kidney pies, coz that's all they eat in Wigan. Hotels in Wigan should be pretty cheap, it's not as if it's a major tourist destination. Although they do have a pier despite the whole city being land-locked!?

Sorry leave nowhere near. I was wondering if it would be possible to do a Blitz World Tour at some point via stayng at people's houses :-)

Not in UK but should be able to help u out if you pass through Uppsala (Sweden's 4th largest 'minicity')

..if you came to asia, let me know, I'll find apartment for ya and few chicks :)

Hello.

Come to Wales. We have gravy, chips and bright-red onion bhaji's, Big Pit and signs in Welsh!!!!

If that doesn't entice you, I don't know what will.

Goodbye.

Big Pit and signs in Welsh!!!!

never mind the big pit, your 3 days would be taken up just reading thoses signs some or those words are extremely lengthy :P

"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch"- hows that for a welsh 'place name' (and no, im not kidding :)

I wonder if they have to use extra long envelopes when sending mail there??

And I would imagine it's a bit tricky trying to get taxi back home after a few pints.

Locals just call it Llanfair. The extended name is just a marketting ploy to attract tourists, and it works.

"..if all else fails, try Wales!"

Joshua, I live about 20 something miles from Wigan (Bury, near Manchester). That's still a fair distance if you don't have transport. If you are still stuck drop me an email. john@...

Can puki stay too?! plleeeeeeaaaase

Sure why not.

I live nowhere near England. Unlucky me. I wish I was in Ireland. Just thought I'd mention it. T_T
