Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Swift Shadow system delivery Geez, it's only been a few hours! You're lucky I didn't go on vacation up to the mountains for more than one day and that I checked my email right after a four hour drive home at midnight before going to bed! :-) (I had one guy freak out a while back because I didn't send it within 30 minutes!)
All my products except my texture generator I have to mail out manually. If I go on vacation for a few weeks I'll forward my emails to gmail and bring the stuff along so I can mail it out, but not for a weekend.
Oh and the Mount Washington Auto Road in New Hampshire was a really awesome drive. But get there before noon unless you love waiting!

sswift - have you ever considered using Toms render to texture DLL to speed up your shadow system somewhat?
Beaker:
I don't see anything which says any tests have been done to show it is faster than just rendering and copying. Plus it might be buggy.
My code is commented really well. It would be pretty easy for someone to swap out the render with copyrect for the render to texture if they really wanted to try it. But I don't want to have to deal with the support issues if it crashes on people. :-)
