Stargate Atlantis?

I've just finished watching series 9 and 10 of SG1. I've never watched any Atlantis episodes. Is this something I should do?

I know this is an insanely geeky question, but thought this'd be the place to ask.

You should stockpile neough coffey, food, toiletpaper, lock up your home, fone off the hook and start at season 1. Then kiss your social life goodbye. Then start with Stargate: The movie.

Continue the bliss with season 1 episode 1 :).

If you like Stargate, you should like Atlantis as well, it's due to start up again in the US soon.

Watch 24 instead. There's 6 seasons and it's very good.

I'm a huge fan of SG:1 - sad now the series has ended forever.

Must admit, I was not a fan of Atlantis Season 1, but loved season 2 and 3 and it's definitely as good as SG:1, so watch it.

Season 4 starts next month, woohooo and around that time we'll have the first of two SG:1 movies :)

p.s. If you've not watched Heroes, that's a fantastic series too.

Yep - I am afraid so Stargate is a fab series so you better put some time aside... the 200th episode and the last one weren't that good but the rest were really worthwhile watching..and for those of you who would love to see something like a stargate in B3d, check out the 3D samples in the B3d install... check out the Richard Betson folder and look for Emerald Gate... ;)

I met Amanda Tapping (alias Samantha Carter) earlier this year (and the Dr. off Stargate Atlantis - who is coming back in the new series btw) at an expo in London - they were really really nice people and they love their fans. Amanda Tapping is busy shooting the two SG-1 movies (not sure if these are TV movies or not) and Stargate Atlantis, but schedule permitting, we are intent on going right back into production of Sanctuary.

I loved the 200th episode, especially the puppet bit (I won't spoil it for those that have not seen it). Not many shows even try to make fun of themselves.

The last episode I liked, if there were not two movies coming I might feel differently


As for the OP - yes Atlantis is a must watch, or at least try it.

Watch QI instead, it's far better.
