Demo Wood 9800 trees

Here is one experments to show you how to create a demo wood with 9800 trees and still have good FPS.
i wish i had "sswift" function then created voidrpg.

You can have all the trees you like - it's how many are visible at once that counts.

Over 500.000 polys rendered and my gfx card still wont cry.

remeber..... you´re using DX7....

the question is not... how many pols/vertex can your card render... que question is.... can the standar player card render 1/20 of yours???

My gfx card dislike 14000 trees and over 1.000.000 polys rendered. i think i hitted the GPU limit in my gfx card :/

Its 3 yars old.

it plays oblivion alright but widout hdr

768 mb ram

Any other tryed it ?

40 FPs.. but..... Pols on screens are not real... look.....

You have to change the View and Camera fog in order to have all trees at once.

Ummm... I get a MAV, probably because of no media...

lol and ALWAYS put HidePointer in programs that lock the mouse... just don't like the look of my mouse moving a bit and snapping to a different place :)

Hi Khayn. Your gfx card is a budget one. thats why the fos is low. its rank is 121.


Its good to know that the limmit for old gfx card is about 130.000 Triangles().

My gfx card is about 1000% faster. (i also costed my skirt 3 years ago)
