USB Worn out?

Hey all,

When I put Flash memory disk into USB PC before and I had no problem. I used my flash memory disk quite lots and now my pc doesnt know my USB every time I plug in my flash memory Disk in it.

It is likely that my USB PC have been worn out...so correct me if I am wrong.

I try to update the driver to sort the USB but no sucess :(

They do have a limited number of writes, but I can't imagine you getting anywhere near that unless you use it as a system disc.

more likely that you knocked it, or moisture got in or something and it buggered it. Solid state doesn't mean indestructible.

USB drives definitely can die... in the past two years, I've killed two of them myself just by wearing them around on my keychain...
