Win entire Ricochet Infinity series

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Win entire Ricochet Infinity series

Hey people - I haven't posted on here in a while. Is nice to be back.

Sorry about the blatant advert but I thought you all might be interested in this (it's free games afterall), also Grey Alien normally mentions these sorts of things but he's on holiday so I thought I'd give it a go :)

To celebrate the release of the new Ricochet game Binary Joy is currently running a competition to win the full series, including Ricochet Infinity.

I hope to see some people here entering - and expect more competitions in the future (I hope)

Ricochet Infinity is great. I put it on my site as soon as it was released, like, within minutes. I did mention its release on this forum but there wasn't a lot of interest.

Yeah - I agree. I like it lots. It's a shame there's so little interest in big games like this.

For those interested I did write an interview with James C Smith - the lead developer too about the game. Will be reviewing it soon as well

Wow, I've just downloaded it and it is indistinguishable from shareware from a decade ago. What do people think is so great about it?

"it is indistinguishable from shareware from a decade ago"

- that's just a little bit of an exaggeration isn't it?

You have to keep playing, the sheer variety and dynamism of the levels is very impressive. The integration of the level editor makes it even bigger, giving you thousands of levels to play.

The graphics aren't as nice as they could be but in terms of gameplay it's got to be the top of it's genre (apart from Breakquest maybe?). Anyway people love it - otherwise Reflexive wouldn't keep churning out new versions.

OF course not everyone will enjoy it. It is a "casual" game afterall

My initial thoughts exactly. I played it for about 20 minutes before uninstalling. Perhaps I should have given it more of a chance, but it simply didn't "do it" for me. I'll stick with "Peggle" for now...

Peggle is very good too :)
