..well..it is not new 'guess the engine' thread, but this thing looking interesting, even there is not much on web site..

No screenshots?
Yeah, none on the main page but if you click the "free tour" gif at the top left there are screenshots there. Only 2 though.
Sounds like one of these tools which has a long feature list but prooven nothing...by they way they've also updated Blink3D...
It doesn't say what scripting system it uses - LUA, Javascript, what !?
its Lua
Downloaded it... horrible.. must be some alpha version?!
I liked ShiVa much more..

From a quick observation it looks like a not so complete Unity clone to me. Do you own it? And *ouch* muchos bugs/glitches in there...just tried out a few online examples.
..this one also looking quite interesting..completely powered by LUA..

Luxinia and E76? Man you've got an eye for the rubbish :P
ShiVa and Blade3D are way, way better than those.
Well, this way i don't have to be unpolite... :O)
As for the other two: Both ShiVa and Blade3D are behind Unity, same like Blink3D...
Anything else? :O)
Just popped to my mind: Do you guys think that Mark will still write his own 3D engine or that he has changed his mind towards utalising something like ogre for instance?
Unity... well might be nice one but it is for Mac.. who the heck owns a mac.. not many I quess. I'm sure macs are nice computers but gamedev price goes bit too high if I need to buy a mac and Unity. I'm sure people who develop Unity could get rich if they remaked or ported whole program to Windows, now they get like 1% of their potential customers.
Oh quite some developers also use Macs nowadays but of course it would be nicer if the IDE also exists on the win side. Why do you think iDTech5 will run on OSX, GearsofWar/UT3 will come out native (Unreal3) for OSX?
As for unity i'm quite confident that we'll see a win IDE for v3. When i look at all these tools which pop up these days, they all feel a bit like time machines and you witness all those nasty bugs were you already went through again. Time will tell which will survive.
I just would prefer having the choice between three or four good tools instead of dozens of half baked ones.
As for the other two: Both ShiVa and Blade3D are behind Unity,
And in other ways, Unity is behind both ShiVa and Blade3D ;)
Yeah but if i sum it up then i do have more arguments for unity than for the others.
..cmon guys..I'll find more 'optinos' for ya...gimme some time :)..its just funny to look some other alternatives, thats all..as for me, I owe pretty much everything in 1K USD range, regarding engines..except Truevision, so honestly speaking, I realized that B3D is really mature stable thing, regarding all those engines I have..thats why I love it so much..but its just me :)
Yep but this isn't quite surprising looking how long B3D is around and how limited it is compared to what those engines are aiming for, B3D is still DirectX7, right?
..thats is also very true, but I cant see much games produced by others with engines I have too, or if there is some of them out, I really cant see anything so far what is not possible to do with B3D, tweaking it around, 3rd party addons, or whatever, but still B3D...comparison between 'features rich<->whats done with them' is on B3D side far as I can see..Im not trying to say that everything else out there is crap, doesnt matter how many features has..noo..I just said what I realized, thats all..
Problem is that i don't know a lot of B3D stuff beside of the things i see here but when i look at those then it isn't hard to imagine to beat this stuff in fields like gfx, physics, platform availability.
Generally it takes some time until people utalise a new technology really well and make it shine. It's often the case that old tools still look nice because people know how to use it well.
But i don't have any doubts that if you have the goal&time to create something which makes old stuff look bad that you would succeed with features like shader support, shadow support, modern physics on board, generally a 3d engine based on modern hardware.
