B3d Runtime Error

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/B3d Runtime Error

I seem to be getting a strange error every now and again ...

Runtime Error abnormal Program termination c\Programfiles/Blitz3d/Blitcc.exe

Anyone ever had this before or know what could cause it?

Cheers
Steven

Can't remember if I've had this one before, or not - rings a bell.

You saying you get this error occasionally when trying to compile the exact same program?

You're prog have a huge amount of lines and/or data statements? Using the default IDE? Not really sure why I'm asking, but another bell is ringing. :)

Is that the exact error message? o_O

Because there are at least five errors in it.

c:\Program Files\Blitz3D\Blitzcc.exe

@Gfk - go be a smart-arse elsewhere thanks!

WTF?

People can't help you if you don't post accurate information.

1.
One thing I can think of is DEP activated.

2.
Or, try to scan your HDD with errors, clean unnecessary files, update B3D with latest update.

3.
For Vista, disable UAC solves.

I got this sort of message a few times. I can't remember exactly but it happened when some general Microsoft software stopped functioning and caused a conflict with Blitz3d's compiler. The solution was to simply restart the pc.

If that's not the solution then you may have installed, or uninstalled, something that is now causing a conflict.

Thanks folks - looks like it was a conflict - all working fine now.

@GFK, you clearly knew exactly what I meant, otherwise you wouldn't have corrected me. Thanks for your help.
