I'll need to see the code before I make a decision - just to be sure of things.
Just go over to the forum in your browser and choose 'View source' from the menus and there ya go the code in all its glory ;)
Just tested it. I have to say, I never played Elite, so I don´t knwow what to do in the game. I also don´t know how original you want it to be, I got however a couple of suggestions:
add tooltipps to all buttons
add a status screen that gives info about the server connection. I still wonder if I was connected.
Other than that, it works stabile AFAIS, good graphcs (original?).

jfk: atm the demo doesnt connect to a server, im writing the whole networking system atm for the game (and future projects). What im taking signups for is the testing of the networking system and eventually when its implemented Elite Multiplayer with networking.
In its current incarnation the networking is incorporated into a chat program, i want to test this with as many people as possible then code the blitz3d version of the system to be added to Elite Multiplayer Win32 client (the current networking system is BlitzMax as the server uses blitzmax)

look forward to welcoming ya all aboard
It's too fast on my PC, it's really hard to turn the ship on the radar, as it turns like 10 times when you hit a cursor key :)
Don't you have somekind of machine-speed-independancy control like a WaitTimer() or tweening setup in the main loop?
