How do I make Icon images??

With any image editor that supports icon creation.

One of the most common programs is supposedly 'Microangelo'.

I don't know of any good freeware ones out there...

or you could use imageicon
it changes any bmp,jpg, or png image into an icon

gimp exports .ico www.gimp.org They (i think) need to be square and ^2 for windows ie 32x32.

Then you need a doofer called 'resource hacker' (reshacker.exe) (google 4 it) to transplant it into your blitz3d/max exe.
