gameplay E3

Yep, we run the trailers a lot at work (Damn lack of decent trailers) and even after the 50th time of seeing it I still think it looks pretty good.

However I do think it has been a tad under under advertised not many people I have spoken to of it had heard about it

I've never heard of it, but they're not releasing it till November so still plenty of time to advertise.

Looks pretty good.

Checked it out about 6 months ago, and it was looking mighty good then.

Too much hype too early can be more detrimental than helpful though, so I can understand why they haven't started the marketing blitz yet.

Utterly stunning.

Speaking as a typical Blitzer, I'd like to know...
1) How much it cost to produce?
2) How many people it took to make it?
3) What hardware it will take to run it?
... just so I don't feel that what I'm doing is pointless, or anything.

1) a few million, maybe.(says it like a few million is nothing)

2) musicians, programmers, ai guys, sound guys, voice actors, 2d artists, character modelers, animators, designers, writers, level modelers etc etc etc.
A whole lot of people, over 50 if i took a guess, maybe 100+ if you count everyone that will be in the credits ie guy who writes manual.

3)xbox360

So dont feel pointless, one man, wih his few pence should be proud of what he can produce, especially in blitz :-)

...or PlayStation3.

Of course, there's a long way until November. Anything could happen.

And after all that investment it still looks like "Prince of Persia", albeit on steroids, but "Prince of Persia" nevertheless. I do admire the knowledge of the guys and gals who are making it but I haven't seen a single really new thing in that demo that would make me run out and buy the game straight away.

Barney

Saw it in Edge a few months back - looks good. Seems to be heading in the direction the first recent Prince of Persia (sands of time) should have carried on towards (as opposed to where it went with the naff sequels). I think the article that I read implied a PC version too, not sure, but I hope so...

...or PlayStation3.

....or a pc good enough to run oblivion.

What really makes this game interesting to me is the freedom you have to climb almost anything.

Okay, so I always wikipedia info with a pinch of salt, but a few sources show this for pc as well as 360 & ps3. Roll on 9th November!
