This is still very rough (and the links don't work), but how does this design strike people?

Personally I'd change the red outlines to be blue to match the theme of the screenshot behind.
I like it though
Actually I think the design is pretty interesting. Although I would get rid of the background (or get one that tiles well). Also the design itself doesn't seem to scale well, but that that I like it.
I dont think the colours compliment or even make sense.
I think the layout and colour schemes immediately confuse me.
I would have all menu items and tabs black and white. You can then use tron esque graphics everywhere else as you define the base scheme for "information" to the eye.
Design has to be functional as well as aesthetically interesting.
It's good. Here's my points:
you need to center the page, it's left justified on my screen.
otherwise, it's very nice.
I agree with FlameDuck. Lose the background, or use a tiling one, and it could definitely benefit from scaling better.

Agreed - but would like to keep a bit o' red somewhere for 'excitement'.

Do you find people just find you annoyingly blunt? The black and white idea is interesting - I'll check it out.

This is my first foray into setting up a web page. My impression so far is that this webpage stuff is frustratingly finicky. I have a webpage guy at work I'll show it to him as well - he's bound to help sort it.
Madjack, suit yourself.
Looks quite nice. However:
The images are of quite low quality. Use png instead of jpg for header images. Better quality for bg image.
You should use % widths and align center - looks nice on 1024 resolution, but I get a scrollbar on 800, and it's left aligned on 1280.
Madjack, I like the tron-esque tank image you used centrally. It all seemed centred to moi, I'm using Firefox. The second link down was 'x', Personally I like the contruction of your site. Not over cluttered with info, and enough images to whet the appetite.

I've taken a tip from Moonpod's Mr Robot webpage in that they have a big central graphic (of Mr Robot) and PLAY/BUY buttons prominently displayed ;-)
Thanks for the advice all - I have a lot to learn.
Ok - have updated the webpage - made things a bit more consistent.

Looks good. Tho, I wouldn't use colored outlines for the screenie thumbs at all, probably white or grey ones, but most likely none at all (or at least only one pixel width), thumbs look great on black background, also without outlines IMHO. Other than that: center the main column layout table. Seems like it would fit on a 800x600 Screen if it's centered.
jfk
Thanks for the feedback. I'm under no illusion that it's a great site or very complex, but it'll do for the moment I guess. Will look at the thumb outlines again.

I'm using the freeware editor NVU and it's giving me some troubles regarding centering stuff. May have to manually hack the code.
Using Firebug (Firefox extension, great for web design), adding the good ol' "margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto" to your body did the trick for centering the content, albeit you may need to add a "text-align:center" to it as well for it to work in IE.
(which means all your contained elements need to set the text justification back to left)
The background-repeat needs to be set to repeat-x also to fit with that.
Never used the NVU editor as I'm more of a code-in-notepad person here, unsure how friendly it is with letting you actually putting stuff in yourself.
Overall, looks good, my main niggle is that the page feels small though on my 1280x1024 display, and the column's headers needs to be brightened up just a smidge imo.
Site isn't centered and the site BG gfx doesn't tile (FireFox). Otherwise pretty OK, some color inconsistency like the George's corner BG.
A simple way to centre the content with the current mark-up would be to put margin: 0 auto; on the body.
You also appear to have a stray tag or two (small and font).
You might want to remove the plesk favicon as well.
The blue title backgrounds look a little flat, I think if the titles had a horizontal gradient from light to the current blue (lightest at title end) it might help (i.e. 66b1e1 to 0089e1).
or maybe a vertical one, not sure.
But it looks OK otherwise.
My only beef is there isn't an easy way from viewing a screenshot back to the main menu, you have to pick screenshots first, rather than 'home' or something more obvious.
look thru some templates for inspiraion here
http://demo.rockettheme.com/your website should look more profesionall if that game is for sale :) if not then it's ok as it is ;)
Thanks all for the info regarding centering - will fix shortly.
And I agree, the headers need brightening.

Will add a home button to the screenshot pages.

Well, ok - but it'll do for an initial web presence. If there is any sort of interest (in the game), I'll probably hire someone to design something.
