Want gmail not googlemail?

Is there anyway to trick the Gmail website to think I'm from the US so that I can register an email with the gmail extension instead of the googlemail one?

You could travel back in time a couple of years and register it then...

Other than that, maybe an anonymous proxy.

I did, but it didn't work out, the power went to your head and I had to go back in time and take the technology away from you :)

If I'm not mistaken, if you register for accountname@... it still receives email sent to accountname@....

Obviously you should check this before relying on it. I just checked, and my gmail.com account receives messages sent to googlemail.com so I'd imagine it would work the other way around.

Here's a clue. An Obvious one. Doing a whois on kamikazekrow.com on godaddy and other sites doesn't bring up my details. You have to do it via Tucows Domain WhoIS for it to show the old and new contact details. :)

I didn't investigate anything.

It does work, registered as googlemail.com but gmail.com works fine.

I've got a time machine, its called a bed and bloody amazing... If I go to into bed, and shut my eyes, I will open them and find that I've travelled to the future, sometimes I open my eyes and find its THE NEXT DAY!!! Unreal
