a word of advice for all you would-be search engine users out there, write your search query as if you actually know the answer.
instead of "what is gl" in opengl,
you try "GL stands for" + opengl
that way, you'll find any article or webpage which contains the explaination, instead of just the question.
instead of "how many worms are in a can of worms",
you write "a can of worms contains"
nobody really explains stuff on the web in a question form ;)

Also, you can put an asterisk, and Google will attempt to fill in the blank for you.
