How would I go about adding a screenshot into one of my posts, I tried to do it manually with HTML but it just came up with the HTML I had written, and not my image.

I've put a space in mydomain.com because then it wont show a missing image placeholder like so

Judging by your latest worklog, you appear to have misunderstood Amon's answer. When he said put a direct link, he meant a direct link to it on the web, not on your hard drive.
