This is pretty interesting, especially that the GPU's are so much faster than regular CPU's for particular tasks. It's always interesting getting a GPU to do tasks that it wasn't necessarily intended to be used for - like back in the Amiga demo days. Personally I'd like a cpu that has thousands of cores, one for each OBJECT used by a program, so they can all operate in simultaneous parallel, but maybe that's a way off. At least `stream processing` as they're calling it, ie massive parallelism, is a step in that direction.
