Same's true with the Wii, the PSP, or the PS3, I'm guessing. Then again, the X360 doesn't have a special version of Internet Explorer, but it does hook up to the internet for XBL, tho.
It's all going through your router, and your router is the thing that the Interweb "sees."
Your DS, PC, etc. all have local IPs within the router's own network, while the router has one single global IP. Whenever a device on your network wants Internet access, it is through the router with the router's global IP.
