[Indies] Top five downloads for May 2007

Further to my "Match 3's" thread recently, thought I'd post some info about the top five downloads from my site during May 2007.

1. Peggle Deluxe
2. Grimm's Hatchery
3. Nanny Mania
4. Secrets of the Seas
5. Amazonia

Surprisingly, only two of those are Match 3's, and those are position 4 and 5. Maybe the period of discontent is over?

I'm not able to monitor downloads for that. I did put the demo on my 'paid for' hosting, but I panicked and moved it to my 2GB of free storage when I worked out it was going to suck up my entire month's bandwidth allocation in about 8 days.

At the time I removed it, I had recorded six times more downloads than Peggle (that's 6x more in two days, vs Peggle downloads in the whole of May). but since I don't have accurate stats for it, it didn't seem right to include it as it wasn't a fair comparison. Plus its my own game and it'd look suspicious if it was my top download for the month (which actually, it was) :/

Well if the message is not 'buy me' but there's also (in this case selling statistics - sort of...) or suggestions about making/selling/developing games or useful links, all the *advert* can be tolerated (speaking for myself of course!) :D

You are free to do what you want (as Grey was in the past for his own games and framework to be correct :D)

Dave: my firewall, Krio, is blocking any game thumbnail from being shown up... I think you have to do something with your site to make it work and not look like as pop-up images/Ads!
