DX10 Graphics Cards for Laptops

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/DX10 Graphics Cards for Laptops

Hello.

I think the subject says it all. Anyone got any suggestions?

Laptop I've got is Vista Home Premium, 1Gb memory (loses 128Mb to integrated graphics, ouch), 1.6 Dual Core.

I plan to upgrade the memory to 2Gb pretty soon but I think a graphics card is pretty necessary.

So anyone got any recommendations?

Goodbye.

you can't normally upgrade the graphics cards :P

Well, you can but only a few laptops feature it.

Since you have a graphics chip that uses system RAM, probably not.

Definately do a RAM upgrade though, the last thing you want on a laptop is the system using the page file, since most laptops ship with slow hard drives.

Just re-install XP, it will make better use of your system ;-)

if it has an express card interface there is the XG Station by ASUS.
