Flat style buttons

Is there a DLL call or something that I can use to make a button on the window flat until the mouse is moved over it?

That's an interesting thing to get into, but i'm looking for more of a thing like in internet explorer 6 or something like that. With the flat "Back", "Forward", etc. buttons.
